Podcast Rec: Authenticity & Experience Design

One of the core pillars of A Mind at Work is to enable our clients to share their unique perspectives with the world. We do this by helping them to create stories (podcasts, short-form videos, amazing stage presentations) that lean into their authenticity and turn up the volume on their distinctive point of view.

In the most recent episode of the HBR IdeaCast podcast, host Adi Ignatius interviews author Marcus Buckingham about the importance of Experience Design, the art of placing yourself in the shoes of the people who consume whatever service, product, or experience you’re putting out into the world. Buckingham argues that the brands people love (i.e., the ones that get an honest 5 out of 5 on satisfaction surveys) are the ones that really know who they are and consistently prove it to their consumers.

Highly recommend investing the 30 minutes to give this a listen (I’m actually on my third play-through as I type this). Drop a comment below if you do and share your take.
